This week Tipu and Rea made manu taratahi. We learned about how to harvest harakeke using this diagram. We said a karakia before we cut the harakeke and returned the parts we didn't use back to the plant.
Some of us helped Whaea Becky make a big manu taratahi and we all made smaller kites and had fun trying to fly them around outside.
